The last of the Minwawe crew

Peeps couldn't fit them all in the truck last time....so here they are!

Bejig (that's ojibwa for 'one' as she was the first one born that year) and her daughter 'dark chocolate'. her ram went to a breeder in WI to be a flock sire! Bejig is ...drum roll please.........SHAELA! WOHOO!! I can't seem to get any luckier picking them :)

This is Miracle, an Ag grey ewe with twin spotted rams. one appears bersugget, the other yuglet flecket. Both are Ag. Hey Michelle...I told you I wanted an Ag ewe!!

All of these girls I got from her, minus Wind Sprite, all go back to a ewe by the name of WVF Pandemonium, who Peeps said was her softest fleeced ewe. I'm hoping with that line now secured with these girls, they will be great for crossing with the UK stock, as i do believe the intermediate fleeces are going to sell the best.

Now the hard part is getting rid of some of the 'other' sheep I have! I already have 15 slotted for a family in Illinois so that is a good feeling. If you are interested in any of the ewes or lambs I may have, do let me know!

And I told you I have one available! Unfortunately, there was no way I could deliver her.... But if you want to make a trip out west, I'll trade you an Ag for a shaela!

Nice looking additions Garrett. I can't wait to get out and see your flock in person one of these days.

Hi Garrett,

I couldn't resist either and I have 8 coming from Peeps soon. I can't wait, and seeing your pictures of your Minwawe crew, I am even more so. I thought about Windsprite and her girls, but I went with Bahama (full brother to Barbados) for my ram choice, which if I remember correctly is her grandson. I am a new Shetland breeder, flock number 1747. I just started my blog to show case my fist lamb crop. Half which can be registered, but next year that will be different. I am looking forward to spots! Nice group, congrats!

A long time coming!

It has been a long time. Too long in fact. We lost access to our farm website and ebonwald website when WEBS.COM was closed by VistaPrint. ...
