April 2nd our first calf finally came. That's about 3 weeks later than usual and there are NOT many cows that look close. I'm a little nervous we will have really late calves this year.
This is BPR Tally who is nine years old this past March. Her little solid black bull calf is out of 3rd generation homegrown bull name SenSim Spokane. He is now in Kim Nikolai's freezer :) We like to move our bulls out quite fast...keeps the genetic advancements coming rapidly :)

Awww, I want a calf....if I can raise it for fleece.....I guess I don't want a calf. Very cute! Don't tell me whose freezer they are in!!!
Awww no spots from Tally :( I love her, she's gorgeous :) Nice lookin' calf. Sounds like ours could start coming within three weeks!
Corinne, you could get a yak! That's what I'm gonna do someday...then it's kinda like a fleece cow! hehehe
at least it will be warmer for them if the come late, Does that help with less sickness in the youmnger calfs if it is warmer ? do they get a better start? The are so white and clean when they're so new, Fun to watch them get their leggs and run and play Miss having the babies here at the acerage when we had then
